inspired by the beach-feat. verb

Summer seems to be the best time to break out all those beach inspired products so I thought I'd show you some of my favourites.

Recently I've been using Verb's new Sea line and have been loving it! My hair is usually really straight but the shampoo and conditioner help give it a lot more volume.

Verb's Sea Texture Cream and Sea Spray are also great for giving me beachy waves (that aren't crunchy)and adding texture. Also, they both smell amazing!

My ultimate summer perfume has to be Replica Beach Walk. I know I've talked about it so many times but it truly is the best and smells exactly like a day at the beach!

Rub Rub Rub shower scrub from Lush is one of my all time favourites. I've repurchased it many times and I think it's just a great essential!

summer trends

This summer, so far one of my favourite things to wear has been white on white. It just seems to always look simple and put together. I've also been loving wicker baskets which you can find at thrift stores for super cheap!

summer essentials

A couple of months ago I did a post on my spring essentials so I though I'd do an updated one for summer.

I found these shoes at a thrift store a couple days ago and fell in love with them! I thought they kinda looked like the LOQ sandals that everyone has been wearing recently so I had to pick them up.

Sunscreen is the ultimate summer essential and there are so many great options out there right now that there's not really a good excuse not to wear it every single day.

Hair Products

Recently I've been trying out some things from Hairstoryand they just have some really cool products that make styling your hair in the summer so much easier. My favourite is the Undressed spray and it just gives my hair great texture without being crunchy or dry. Hairstory has some really inventive products like the New Washwhich is a shampoo and conditioner in one that doesn't have detergents, which can be harsh on hair.

june favourites

It's a little late for a June favourites but I thought I'd throw one together and show you some of the things I was loving last month (and still am right now).

So I went to Brandy Melville recently and picked up a couple things, the first being this lilac sweater. Even though it's been pretty hot out I've been wearing this sweater non-stop. I think I'm gonna go back and pick it up in a few more colours cause it's just a great staple piece.

I also picked up this dress from Brandy Melville cause it's great to just throw on in the summer and it's easy to style.

This summer I've been playing around with minimal makeup and one thing I've been loving is the glossy look. I use the Nudestick eye pencil in Terra all over my eye and I'll apply a lip balm on top to give it a glossy look.
