spring look book

Image
Finally, after promising this for weeks I finally got around to doing a spring look book of sorts! It's basically just a couple things I've been liking lately and thought I'd share. Items: Forever 21 top, Lululemon leggings, Charlotte Russe denim jacket, Bandana I have no clue but I think lots of stores sell them right now, Sperry shoes I've been seeing a ton of bandana's being worn recently on Pinterest and Instagram as neck ties and I think they look really cute especially when you wear it with a white top. Also, athletic wear has been coming back so I've been wearing leggings and running shoes a lot. I think one thing that everyone needs for spring is some cute flats since I've basically worn boots since fall. One thing that I love doing is making inspiration boards with magazine clippings as it's a good way to waste time and it's fun. These are some of the ones I've done recently! Thanks for r

being sick while on vacation

Image
I've been pretty sick for the last week and luckily it was during March break or I would've missed a lot of school. Even though I feel like I've wasted my vacation by staying in bed all day and watching Game of Thrones it's still nice to do nothing for a few days. Sorry this isn't a very long post but I haven't felt up to taking photos lately :( Hopefully I'll be feeling 100% soon so I can shoot a Spring lookbook! Xx Taylor

spring break movie guide

Image
I watch a crazy amount of movies so I thought I'd compile a list of some of my favourites that you might not have seen before. There's a pretty good mix of comedies and indie films so hopefully you find a new favourite! 1. Moonrise Kingdom If you've never seen a Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom is a good one to start with. Every single shot is soo gorgeous and the story is amazing! It makes me want to be a kid again. 2. Palo Alto Palo Alto is a really great coming of age story about four different teens all going through different things. It's a lot different from James Franco's book but it takes his stories to a whole new level. 3. Wet Hot American Summer This movie is probably the weirdest one on the list because it's so random. It's a hilarious camp movie starring Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and Elizabeth Banks that will definitely make you laugh. 4. Ferris Bueller's Day Off This movie is one classic that you have to

spring break packing guide

Image
March break starts in one day for me which is super exciting even though I'm not actually going anywhere exciting. For those of you who are, I thought I'd put together a little essential packing guide whether you're visiting the city or the beach! City Items: Leather jacket and top from Forever 21, Converse shoes, Old Navy Bathing Suit top, Sunglasses (I can't remember...sorry!), Moleskin journals, vintage camera, Benefit Push Up liner It's still pretty cold out so if you're visiting a city (NYC possibly?) then you'll probably want to pack warmer pieces like jackets and good shoes for walking around. I also included a bathing suit because hotels usually have a swimming pool and I ALWAYS forget to pack one. The Great Gatsby is the perfect book to read on you're city vacation because it's short but really interesting! I also like to pack journals and a camera so I can remember everything that I did! busy weekends that aren't really busy

Image
It's Sunday right now and I really wish the weekend hadn't gone by so quickly. Yesterday I went shopping and picked up a couple fun things and today I did homework and I'm going to hang out with some friends later but I thought'd I'd share my (small) haul and my ootd! Items: Forever 21 top, Lululemon Inspire Tight II, Rosebud Lip Salve from Sephora I went into Forever 21 yesterday and was actually really impressed by all their new spring clothes! They have some really pretty pieces right now so definitely pop into the store when you can. I decided to treat myself and (finally!) buy a pair of leggings from Lululemon and I'm really glad I did cause I actually love them! Items: same top as above, Rag & Bone jeans I'm hoping to do a spring look book or something along those lines to post on here so hopefully it'll get warmer and actually feel like spring! Thanks for reading! Xx Taylor

suede & denim

Winter can be soo annoying especially when one day there's a huge snow storm and the next it's above 0. This is one of those above zero day outfits that I thought I'd show you. Items: Rag & Bone jeans, American Eagle jacket, Forever 21 sweater, Steve Madden boots I never thought I'd be the kind of person to wear a suede jacket but when I saw that one I was surprised to find that I actually really liked it. I think it could be because it looks a lot like a leather jacket but a lot warmer! Xx Taylor
